Privacy Policy – TIDHEX

This policy explains what data the TIDHEX platform, based in Mezzeh, Damascus, Syria, collects, and how it uses and protects it. It forms part of the Terms and Conditions.

1. Data We Collect

• Workshop registration request: workshop name, contact name, country and city, phone, email, and any brands, services, volume and notes you provide. The request is sent to the TIDHEX team by email for follow-up.
• Account data: username, email, name, phone, country, plan and permissions.
• Usage and device records: IP addresses, browser and device type, sign-in and session history, and a log of operations carried out on the platform.
• Uploaded files: control-unit files and the technical data they contain, such as the vehicle identification number (VIN), part and software numbers, and the resulting output files.
• Support correspondence: the content of tickets and messages and anything attached to them.

2. How We Use Data

• To operate the service and provide technical support and billing.
• To protect accounts, detect sharing and abuse, and apply the licensing and fair-use policies.
• To analyse uploaded files in order to provide and develop the service and improve the solutions.
• To contact you about your account, service updates and changes to the Terms.

3. Sharing Data

• We do not sell or rent user data.
• We share the minimum necessary with the hosting, email and payment providers we rely on to run the service, and with the authorised distributor responsible for your account.
• We may disclose data in response to a binding legal request, or to protect TIDHEX's rights and systems in cases of intrusion or fraud.

4. Storage and Cookies

• Data is stored on servers with an external hosting provider, which may be located outside the user's country.
• The website uses no third-party analytics or advertising tools.
• The user dashboard uses the browser's local storage to keep you signed in, and does not work without it.

5. Retention

• We keep account data and files for as long as the account is active.
• After an account ends, we keep what is needed to settle disputes, prevent abuse and meet legal obligations, and then delete it or de-identify it.

6. Security

We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect data, including encryption in transit and access restrictions. No system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute protection.

7. Your Rights

• You may ask to access, correct or delete your data through the ticket system or the official contact channels.
• We may keep some records after a deletion request where they are needed to prevent abuse, for an ongoing dispute, or for a legal obligation.
• You must obtain any necessary consent from the vehicle owner before uploading files that contain the vehicle's data.

8. Applicable Law

Data is processed in accordance with the laws in force in the Syrian Arab Republic.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may change this policy; changes are published here with the date of the latest update. Users are notified of material changes through the platform or by email.
